Repeal the Health Insurance Tax

If you buy health insurance, you are paying a hidden tax that costs you a significant amount of money.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act contains a fee on health insurance providers that is passed on to anyone who buys health insurance - the self employed, small employers, and large employers.

The premium increases below from the Oliver Wyman analysis are for each individual or family covered:

For example, an employer who buys family coverage for ten employees will pay an average increase in premiums of $68,300 over ten years.

This burden will hold back economic growth and place even more pressure on employers to cut employee benefits.  The Missoula Chamber strongly supports repeal.

Help repeal this burden on business by sending a one-click letter to Montana's representatives in Congress!
